Are the kids in you class nice to you? Have you taught them how to worship Yog-Sothot yet? Marika Viklund replies: "Hiiii! *glomp* Haha, mutant ponies! XD Life goes on I guess. It’s ok, but I have a cold atm. The kids are little monsters... But they’re great too! Never a boring moment at lest. But I’m very tired. Heh, had a music lesson with heavy metal this week. *lol* Don’t think many teachers do that. Working on the worshiping yet!
How are you doing? Haven’t seen or heard anything from you in ages! D: Everything ok? Anything new, cool or scary to upload yet? "

Should I turn this over into a private message, so we can write in Swedish? I’m doing fine! I’m mostly working on my video projects, so I haven’t done that much art that would be interesting for Elfwooders for a while. It’s not that I’m out of ideas (good heavens)! I’m just always out of time, it seems. Marika Viklund replies: "They’re 9 (most of them). Third year in school. ^^ Yeah, I do everything apart from idrott and slöjd! *lol* Couldn’t bother to look up the words in English. Music is a big block every week! I never know what to do!!! D: Art is easy, math is fun. Swedish is more of a challenge but it usually works out and NO/SO is fairly easy to do. Yeah, you can do that!
That’s great! Oh, I see! That’s why! Haha, it’s always the lack of time that’s the problem! I have the same issue. Loads of ideas and too little time! But some day! Next summer I’m gonna have 7 weeks free! Finally! It’s going to be great! I’ll be able to write, paint, sculpt, sew and all those things I wanna do! As well as study some more japanese! *nod*"

The street was undergoing reconstruction, and there were boards and machinery scattered around. There was board right in front of her and she walked right into it, and fell. Marika Viklund replies: "*lol* Id have had trouble not laughing out loud I guess. Was she alright? "

Maybe it climbs trees and swoops down on it prey. Marika Viklund replies: "It would still need stronger wings. If it should use them for both walking, climbing and flying. *nods* It’s a pretty dragon though. "

I do not remember how many lives I have saved by preventing more accidents, while less experienced "rescuers" simply bolt into traffic. The woman got up by herself, because no car struck us. I always wear white or bright-coloured hats for this very purpose - signalling! In fact I was speaking with Tabitha Lynn Ladin about the very subject, about how people first notice movement, then outline, then colour. Waving a hat attracts attention. When the temperature is above freezing, I wear a baseball cap, because the visor shelters my eyes from glare, both day and night. The visor provides a handle for waving. The light colour also protects me from the sun’s heat. Marika Viklund replies: "*lol* You’re weird. XD I like hats... "
| 12 May 2012 | Paul Cerar | Loading...Are you saying I am "weird" because I save lives by stopping oncoming cars? You are bloodthirsty! Marika Viklund replies: "Hehe, nope. I’m saying you’re weird for always using hats for signalling traffic! " | |

He is being deported to Canada, and might get a job as a taxi driver in Toronto. I have been warning everyone: If you have Omar Khadr as your taxi driver, under no circumstances get into an argument with him, because he will wrap his arms around you, yell "Allahu Akbar!" and throw himself into traffic! Marika Viklund replies: "*lol* Never thought of that. I don’t ever need to use taxis here. (I did when I used to work night shifts at Burger King 10 years ago. But then I called a cab so it’d be waiting for me when I got out.
No. And I don’t really like that kind of jokes. "
| 17 May 2012 | Paul Cerar | Loading...We rarely need taxis at present, and if we do, we simply go onto the street. The major downtown streets have taxis going by at all hours. If a passing taxi driver already has a passenger, he will radio to a confederate. Most exits of major subways, bus depots, ferry docks, airports, sporting events, bars, hotes, have taxis waiting. If you are off the beaten track, or on a side-street you have to either telephone or walk to a main street. Sorry for the off-taste joke. In real life, the Canadian-born Omar Khadr is a Al-Qaida terrorist and mass murderer, though he was convicted of only one murder. He will soon be released from an American prison, and will return to Canada, to his house and family in Toronto. Marika Viklund replies: "Yeah, here there barely are any taxis. You need one, you have to call it. Except on friday and saturday night down in the center.
Only one murder... terrible. Only one is still 20 too many! *shakes head* But at least they don’t walk free in the US like they do here. The worst crime you can do here is steal money, especially much money if you yourself don’t have much. That’ll get you in prison I guess. Killing people, sure they lock them up. For a year... maybe even two. Swedish justice for you... the murderer was probably a sad person that needs help... yes. But he still killed people! People who didn’t do anything wrong! Gaah! I assume the police will keep an extra eye on Khadr now anyway. Right?"
| 19 May 2012 | Paul Cerar | Loading...At present all levels of the Canadian court system are corrupted by ideology. A convited criminal might get a very severe sentence - or no prison time at all - for the same crime, depending on the whim of the judge.
A convicted criminal might receive a longtime prison sentence, and then be released after only a brief term. A criminal might be acquited, or given no punishment, due to race, or gender, or skin colour.
A convicted muderer might be sentenced to "life in prison with no possibility of parole for 12 years," and receive "day-pass," meaning he can be outside during the day. An Indian convicted of murder might have to serve no jail time at all, if he participates in a "sweat lodge" tribal healing ceremony, which will cleanse him of his evil spirits. Etc.
